Welcome to Systems News - The following is a complete step by step tutorial on how to utilize System News to maximize your advertising.
 
Systems News is broken down into (2) basic categories.

1). Wholesale Advertising: Our Newsletter is delivered each Monday morning and is designed to provide office furniture dealers, brokers and installers with the ability to buy, sell or trade on a wholesale level.

2). Retail Advertising: Systems News Online is designed to provide "End Users" with Office Furniture For Sale. We have also created a "Wanted" section online which is intended to deliver inquiries to our members from "End Users" seeking to purchase office furniture.

Since taking over in March of 1999 we have increased website traffic significantly. We currently receive 2700-2900 visits per day. Unfortunately we cannot determine from these visits which are "End User" versus "Member or Office Furniture Dealer" but we can see a visible increase in leads delivered and sales completed from our weekly conversations with members. These visits do not include repeat visits from the same users and in many cases we know that "End Users" frequent our website looking for "New Listings".

At Systems News we feel we provide the most genuine advertising available to our members. We do not sell office furniture in any way and all retail inquiries and leads are delivered directly to our members. We do not charge any added fee's for the use of the Newsletter or Website. Your low monthly or annual membership fee entitles you to unlimited use of the resources available at Systems News.

1. The Weekly Newsletter - How To Submit Advertising:
The weekly Newsletter is designed to be delivered "To The Trade" only! The objective of the weekly newsletter is for office furniture dealers & brokers to buy, sell and trade on a wholesale level.

How do I submit my ad's for the weekly newsletter?

To submit ad copy for the weekly newsletter simply send us your ad title, description and any other details tosnads@systemsnews.com. All ad's must be received by Friday for inclusion in the following weeks newsletter.

How long will the ad run?

Generally your ad will run for (2) weeks before being deleted. If you send an e-mail updating the ad or asking for the ad to continue we will be glad to leave your ad in place. We do need our members to let us know if you want your ad's to continue. We are trying to deliver fresh and available inventories to our members so we delete ad's on a regular twice weekly basis.

I have an on going need for specific inventories?

If you have an on going need for specific inventories let us know and we will develop a special advertisement which can run for up to (8) weeks at a time. In some instance a display fee may apply but generally we can accommodate your request at no additional fee.

I provide an office furniture industry related service, can I still advertise?

Yes, we will be happy to develop an on going advertisement for your industry related supplies and services.
2. Updating Newsletter Ad's
How To Update Your Newsletter Ad's

Generally Newsletter Ad's will run for (2) weeks. If you need to run your ad's longer than (2) weeks please let us know. We try to keep inventories updated in the weekly newsletter so the content is fresh and up to date. You can also update your quantities and descriptions which will automatically renew your ad for (2) weeks.
3. Systems News Online - How To Place Ad's

    Recently we added a very user friendly ad system to Systems News Online. Members have a user name ( Your E-Mail Address ) and a password for our online directory. Simple Login and follow the directions for placing your online ad.

To update your Ad's Online simply Login to The Systems News User interface here:

Once you login you will find a menu for modifying ad's, deleting ad's or adding new listings.
5. State by State Listings
State by State Listing Features

We have (2) State by State listing features:
 

  • Systems News: We have also been promoting State by State listing features directly from the Systems News website. This feature requires a small monthly fee but the results are fantastic. We are generally number 1-5 under the keywords "Office Furniture" for your State.
